New Applications For Micropilot M
The FMR 230 is especially suited for measurement in buffer and process tanks

Instrumentation specialist, Endress+Hauser has announced the introduction of two new models to the Micropilot M radar range. These new models operate at different frequencies, 26GHz and 6GHz, and can be used in a wider range of applications.

The new additions to the Micropilot M radar range are used for continuous, non-contact level measurement of liquids, pastes and slurries. The range is not affected by changing media, temperature variations, gas blankets or vapours.

The large, 4 line, plain-text display permits menu-driven on-site operation and users are guided step by step through the complete basic calibration. The Micropilot M also features the radar signal as an envelope curve on the instrument display, enabling users to see the actual signal.

In addition to 4-20mA, digital communication is also available via HART protocol or connection to PROFIBUS-PA or Foundation Fieldbus.

Customers can now choose a measuring device to suit specific applications without being restricted by choosing a radar utilising only one particular frequency.
