Process instrumentation specialist Endress+Hauser has announced the appointment of Rob MacKenzie to the position of Managing Director, effective from 10 December 2007. MacKenzie will be replacing Tony Jacobsen who has accepted a position within the Endress+Hauser group in Switzerland.

MacKenzie holds a Bachelor of Science degree in electronic engineering from the University of KwaZulu-Natal and has worked for the likes of Siemens and AEG. He is currently Sales and Marketing Manager at Phoenix Contact.

MacKenzie says that he is looking forward to taking the reins of Endress+Hauser. "Endress+Hauser has significant goals and I look forward to being part of the team that works towards achieving them.”
